John Charles Gridley

John Charles Gridley, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

He was born on February 28, 1924 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Charles “Stanley” & Frances McKenna Gridley, both of whom preceded him in death.

John is survived by his loving wife of seventy years, Grace Austen Gridley; son, Charles F. (Lein Mei) Gridley, daughter, Elaine M. (Victor) Williams; grandchildren, Jon Gridley, Clay (Amy Noelle) Gridley, Samantha (James) Donaldson, Brittany Williams, Sydney Williams, Kayla (Kyle) Lovell, and a great-grandchild on the way.

There will be no funeral services held at this time. Interment will occur in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on a later date and will be announced in the Times-Free Press.
