June (Tumlin) Moyer

June T. Moyer, 90 of Ooltewah died Friday, November 3, 2017.  She was the widow of the late Carl Edwin Moyer and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lee Ann Freeman.  Mrs. Moyer was a graduate of the last class of the U. S. Cadet Nurses Corp trained at Baroness Erlanger Hospital.  She worked as a registered nurse at several local hospitals before retirement.  She was a member of Erlanger Nurses Alumni, the Norfolk Southern Wives Club, and the Ooltewah United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Carl Edwin Moyer, III, Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; sisters, Carole Day, Chattanooga, and Joyce Nicholson, St. Petersburg, FL.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 P. M., Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to your favorite charity.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P. M., Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Rd.
