My sincere condolences to Lara's family. I knew Lara through the activism she engaged in to raise awareness and educate about ME. She was a wonderful selfless activist, who will be greatly missed.
I'm so sorry for your loss and hope that you will take comfort in the knowledge that Lara had many friends in the ME community worldwide whose lives she touched. I will miss her chat, her online friendship, and her compassion for other patients with ME.

A brave woman who battled her illness and fought for others suffering from ME/CFS. A needless loss. As a fellow sufferer I know how other illnesses (on top of M.E. ) are so very much harder to manage. I pray for Lara and for her grieving family.

My deepest sympathies for your heart breaking loss. I did not personally know Lara, however shared mutual FB friends through ME/CFS mutual friends. I felt like I got a precious glimpse into her spirit and tenacity from those that knew her better - may love and support surround you during this most difficult of times.
Sincerely,
Heather Dreske

I would like to express my deepest condolences to Lara's family. We are both mothers that have ME and we shared with one another. She told me how much she loves her son and is so proud of him and her love for her husband. She talked about her gratefulness to her parents and her concern for many family members. She brought enthusiasm and passion to her advocacy for ME. She was always willing to offer encouragement. Lara will be missed but we will remember her.
