LeRoy N. Stynchcombe, Jr.

LeRoy N. Stynchcombe, Jr., 81 of Chattanooga went to be with his Lord Monday, October 30, 2017 at his residence.  He was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and retired as Chief Deputy of the Fulton County, Georgia Sheriff’s Office.  LeRoy attended the University of Georgia and was an avid Bulldog fan.  He was also a coach and umpire for the East Brainerd Youth Athletic Association for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta; children, Terry Stynchcombe (Richard) Matthews, David Stynchcombe, Alexandra Sanchez; stepson, Bill (Tina) Bruning, III; sister, Diane Jackson; grandchildren, Melissa Matthews (Justin) Colter, Rick (Kara) Matthews, Ryan (Lisa) Matthews, Reed Matthews, and Rob Matthews; and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 A. M., Friday, November 3, 2017 at Morris Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Mason officiating.  The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Morris Hill Baptist Church, c/o Lottie Moon Missions Fund, 1804 Morris Hill Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37421.
