Lonnie Lebron Jeffers, 75, of McDonald, TN passed away Monday, June 28th in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Hamilton and Bradley County, Lonnie retired from the City of Chattanooga after 34 years of service.
He was a member of John B. Nicklin Masonic Lodge #712 and attended Bancroft Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Jeffers and sister, Shirley York.
Survivors are his mother, Hazel Goodwin Jeffers, Chattanooga; wife, Glenda Jeffers; children, Stacy (Philip) Holt, Kim (Tim) Pitchford, all of Chattanooga, Mitzi (Doug) Thompson, Rock Spring, and Greg Henson, McDonald; sister, Linda Jeffers, brothers, Terry (Angie) Jeffers and Gary (Angie) Jeffers all of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren, Dakota (Briana), David, Sydney, Faith, Tristan, Emalee, Sam, and Isabel; great-grandchild, Raelee; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 1st at 10 am at Ooltewah Cemetery with Gene Nation and Rev. Jeff Kesley officiating. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Kirkman High School Alumni Class of 1965.
