Marian Elizabeth (Beth) Best

Marian Elizabeth (Beth) Best, 65, of Ooltewah, passed away August 27, 2019.

A longtime resident of Ooltewah, Beth was formerly employed with both the Hamilton County and Catoosa County School Systems.   She taught English as a second language at Chattanooga State Community College and also in S. Korea.

She was a member of the Ooltewah Seventh- day Adventist Church and also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Beth was preceded in death by her father, Clarence D. (Bill) Best.

She is survived by her mother, Billie Best, Ringgold;   sister, Patricia B. Vital, Signal Mountain; brothers, Harry D. Best and Jon Best, Peoria, IL; nephews, Matthew Best, Atlanta, GA and Dylan Best, Peoria, IL.

A private memorial service for the family will be held in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jim Herman officiating.
