Martha Jo Jeffery

Martha Jo Jeffery, 82, of Harrison passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at her home.

A lifelong resident of Hamilton County, Mrs. Jeffery retired from CRI Communication Resources after many years of service.

She was a member of Alpine Baptist Church where she had served as church pianist, singer and an active church worker.

Mrs. Jeffery held membership with Sunnyside Chapel OES #359 and was a past matron of the Harrison OES. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Mattie Payne.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Jeffery.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31st at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bryan Daniel and Rev. Larry Gray officiating.     Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with members of the Road Runners Unit of the Alhambra Shrine Temple serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be area members of the OES.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 31st from 12 noon until 2 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
