Mary Jean (Hartley) Bolton

Mary “Jean” (Hartley) Bolton, age 93, of Chattanooga, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 7, 2022. She peacefully passed at the NHC Nursing Home. Born on March 27, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lou “Vennie” (Stuman) Hartley and Mathew James Hartley. She is preceded in death by her husband Herman Jewell Bolton. 

She is survived by her brother John Hartley of Pico Rivera, CA. She is also survived by her two daughters Linda Jean (Bolton) Williford and Joyce Jewell (Bolton) Williams, and their husbands David Williford and Lee Williams. She is survived by her son Ryan J. Bolton and wife Toni (Thomas) Bolton. She has eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. 

She loved her church and was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Harrison, TN. 

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 with visitation from 9-ll a.m. and the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Heritage Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Ronnie Dodson officiating.
