Mary Fred Petty

Mary Fred Petty, 91, of Chattanooga passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 in a local healthcare center.

A longtime resident of Chattanooga, Mrs. Petty retired from Olan Mills after 23 years of service.   She was formerly employed with Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant for 15 years.

Mrs. Petty was a member of Greenslake Road Church of Christ,

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Dub” Petty, son-in-law, Eddie Oliver; and 6 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Diane Oliver, Chattanooga and Donna Curvin, Harrison; 

2 grandchildren, Zackery Allen (Kristeen) Curvin, and Matthew Aaron (April) Curvin, both of Hixson;  great-grandson, Trent Brumfield; many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 1st at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Petty officiating.  Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Vernon Petty, Mark Wagenknecht, Gary Hatcher, Barry Petty, Jeff Petty, and Matthew Curvin serving as pallbearers.
