Mary L. White Conrad took her leave of this Earthly Home, bound for the heavens, on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Mary was born in Elkins, West Virginia to the late Charles D. and Martha M. White. She was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School where she proudly displayed her school spirit as quick stepping, Majorette trusted to carry on her legacy of beach trips, excitedly celebrated Holiday Seasons and spoiling the Grandchildren with the love of her life, Kenneth E. Conrad. Mary and Earl journeyed through life together for 54 years and built a legacy of love, family, friendship and adventure.
Mary devoted her professional Nursing Career to the care of those unable to advocate for themselves and the support of their families during the challenges of facing Alzheimer’s disease. She was a champion for Life and believer in the Journey beyond the mind and body.
Mary will proudly watch over her daughters Michelle L. Conrad and Marti L. Conrad Timmons and cheer on her Grandchildren, Taylor Timmons, Dax Timmons and Aidan Henderson. She will hear each strum of her son in law, Cary’s guitar. Mary will missed by sister, Doris M. White, Barbara A. Fontenot and Angie M. Woods “sissy” will keep watch over her nieces and nephews, as always. For the many she took into her heart, she’ll be guiding you still.
Mary wished for each of you to Celebrate Life, to eat dessert first and enjoy those you love. Please join us on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, 2321 Lifestyle Way, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421 as we celebrate the Life of our party from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Associations would be appreciated.
