Michael Dean Blake, a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, 68, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on
April 17, 2018, at his home in Graysville, TN.
He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran as well as an active member of the American Legion Post 243 in Ligonier, IN where he was born and raised. He loved his family, dogs and Nascar.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Harry Blake and mother, Sarah Morgan.
Survivors include sisters, Linda Sexton of Ligonier, IN., and Cindy (Ricky) Green of Chattanooga, TN;
brother, Dennis (Linda) Blake of Ringgold, GA; nieces and nephews, Shelly (Terry) Stump of Ligonier, IN., Terry Sexton of Ft. Wayne, IN., Lyndsie Blake of Chattanooga, TN., Lacie (Andrew) Chadwick of Harrison, TN., Cory, Austin and Brianna Stump of Ligonier, IN.
A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chattanooga Humane Educational Society (www.heschatt.org)
