Nora "Peggy" (Tate) Carpenter

Nora “Peggy” Carpenter, 85, of Apison went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2020 

She was a past Matron and active member of the Ooltewah Order of the Eastern Star #365, Ooltewah Chapter. 

“Peggy” was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Carpenter; son, Art Metcalf and daughter, Alice Metcalf. 

She is survived by her sons, Tony (Amanda) Metcalf, Frank (Carole) Teague; daughters, Janice Disney, Karen Reed; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Ric Metcalf officiating. Interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
