Patrick Whitaker Finlay, 51, died Tuesday March 23, 2021.
He was born in Chattanooga on April 27, 1969 and attended the Bright School, Baylor School, and the University of Tennessee at Martin.
He was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Patrick was known among those who worked for him for his strong sense of fairness. He loved his family and the Atlanta Falcons, in that order. He enjoyed fishing and being on the lake in his boat. He loved all animals and helped foster kittens for local animal shelters.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 16 years, Amanda Hargis Finlay; three children, Katy M. Finlay, Ally M. Finlay, and Mason P. Finlay. Also surviving are his parents, Edward W. Finlay and Elizabeth G. Finlay; brother, Brian S. Finlay.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward Finlay, Jr., Phyllis W. Finlay, George Guess, and Pollye Guess.
The memorial service will be held at 1 pm Sunday, March 28, at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel with Rev. John Bonner officiating.,
