Patty Cobble Brown

Patty Jane Cobble Brown of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Patty was a long time resident of Chattanooga, TN. She retired from the Hamilton County School System, working at both Tyner Jr. High and High School. She was a long time member of East Brainerd Church of Christ and a former member of the Scenic City Chorale.

She was born in Kansas City, MO, lived in Richmond, VA, and moved to Chattanooga, TN and graduated from Central High School in 1952.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred H. Cobble and Margaret Mitchell Cobble; two brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Brown; children, Charles (Joyce) Brown, Mike (Bettye) Brown, and Donna (David) Fitzgerald; seven grandchildren, Josef Wiggins, Jesse Brown, Arin Brown, Meaghan Fitzgerald, Walker Fitzgerald, Lyle Stewart, Travis Stewart; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 16 in the funeral home chapel with Ron Rogers and Bruce Keowen officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
