Paul Ray Myers, 90, of Chattanooga passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his home.
Born in Calhoun, TN, Mr. Myers was retired from the US Air Force in 1973 after serving 24 years.
He was employed with Econ Mills for several years, was a charter member of Volunteer Chapter 103 of the Retired Enlisted Association and, for 30 years was a Red Cross Volunteer at Erlanger Hospital.
Ray enjoyed hiking with the Wednesday group of the Chattanooga Hiking Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; parents, Armon and Pearl Myers; brothers, Melvin, Dewey, and Wayne Myers; sisters, Edith and Mary Lynn.
Survivors are his two sons, Tim Myers, Tyler, TX, and Ron (Michele) Myers, Chattanooga; 3 grandchildren, Jasmine Martin, Alana DuLyn, and Natasha DuLyn; 4 great-grandchildren, Isla, Henry, Margot, and Tessa Martin; sister, Ruth Bryan, Calhoun, TN.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Hugh Bryan officiating with burial at 1 pm at he Chattanooga National Cemetery.
