Rhoda E. Dean

Rhoda Dean, 74, of East Ridge passed away Thursday August 24, 2017 in a local hospital.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, she retired from McKee Foods after 25 years of service.

Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her parents, Hale Lee and Mabel Tate and  brothers, Joe M. Gibson Sr., Ross Gibson, Brian Gibson and Butch Lee.

Survivors are her two sons, Lamar Humphries, St. Louis, MO, and Randy (Sonja) Dean, Soddy-Daisy, TN;  eight grandchildren, Joshua and Joseph Humphries,  Christian, Monica, Trent and D’Monte Dean, Isiah Jones and Andrew Gatlin;  great-grandson, Jaxon Humphries; many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 2:30 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery with Dr. Travis Shipley officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the new Children’s Hospital Foundation, 975 E. 3rd Street, Chattanooga, TN  37403.
