Rhonda Jean Staton, 64, of Ooltewah went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 22, 2019.
Rhonda was a longtime resident of Ooltewah and retired from Georgia Pacific after 17 years of service. She worked as a substitute teacher for Hamilton County Schools for several years as well.
She was a member of The Lord’s House Church in Apison for over 40 years.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest & Ruby Jump; brother, Terry Jump Sr.; and her beloved son, Darrell Caylor.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Allen Staton; two sons, Josh (Melissa) Staton, and Darrin Jump all of Ooltewah; five grandchildren, Braylieanna and Julianna Staton; Hayden and Madeline Seay and expecting in December, Knoxleigh Staton; two brothers, Gerald (Meda) Jump, Dayton, TN and Marlin Jump, Ooltewah; several nieces & nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, July 25th at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Donald Oliver and Lynn Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery with Lynn Barbee, Joseph Barbee, Justin Hardy, Raymond Staton, Josh Neyman, and Wes Hullander serving as pallbearers.
