Richard Lee Sherriff

Richard Lee Sherriff, 74, of Ooltewah went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 4, 2017.

A resident of Ooltewah since 2006, Mr. Sherriff was an active member of Redemption to the Nations Church where he served as an elder. 

He worked in the Prison Ministry at Silverdale Correctional Facility.

Richard was pursuing his Master’s degree at UTC in Criminal Justice and was employed for Capital Toyota.

He was a Vietnam veteran serving in both the Air Force and Navy.

He is survived by his Wife, Denise Sherriff;  son, Anthony Sheriff, Ooltewah;  brother, Bob Sherriff, Oregon ; sister, Pat Smith, Spokane, WA; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at12 noon Thursday,  with Pastor Kevin Wallace officiating.   Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
