Richard "Lindy" Lindburgh Hutson

R.L. “Lindy” Kinzalow Hutson, 89, of East Ridge went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on October 28, 2019.
Lindy graduated from Rossville High School in 1949.
He served 2 years in field artillery, 39th Battery in England, and 8 years in the 115th artillery of the Tennessee National Guard.
Lindy retired from Bellsouth Telephone Company on December 28, 1991 with 37 years of service.
He was a member of Harrison First Baptist Church and Veterans Lodge Post 95, Ringgold Rd., East Ridge.
Lindy was preceded in death by his first wife of 27 years, Kathleen James Hutson, and by his second wife of 15 years, Lillian Norman Hutson; father, Emory Charles Hutson, Sr.; mother, Minnie Bell Kinzalow Hutson; brothers, Charles Hutson, Jr., Claude A. Hutson, Raymond Hutson; and sisters, Mary Evelyn Williams and Violet Cooper.
He is survived by his stepson, Tony Norman and wife Jarita; grandson, Steven Norman; granddaughter, Stephanie Norman; and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Marvin McClendon officiating. Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
