Rita Ann (Ezell) Sowder

Rita Ann Sowder, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William O. “Bill” (Decie) Ezell and loving husband of 46 years, Arthur “Sonny” Sowder.

Rita is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Mike) Walker and Linda Curtis (Mike Duncan); son, David (Kim) Sowder; grandchildren, Summer (Jimmy) Hartman, Whitney Park, Logan Park, Sunni Jackson, Austin Jackson, Skye Cunningham, Michaela Walker, McKenzy Cunningham,  Dexter Robertson, Christopher (Sydney) Walker; 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her very best friend, Theldon Echols.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, September 7, 2018 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
