Robert "Bob" W. Mastin, IV

Robert “Bob” W. Mastin IV, 69, of Ooltewah, TN, left this world Wednesday, July 22, 2020, after a long illness.

He grew up in Knoxville, TN, and moved to Chattanooga in 1970, he worked for McKee Ind., where he was in route sales and production, he retired from there in 1975. He was also employed by Astec Ind. and retired from Miller Ind. in Ooltewah in July 2020.

Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia E. “Pat” (McCoy); son Robert “Shaun” (Heather); 4 grandchildren (which he loved more than life itself), Dylan James, Chloe, Trevor, and Emaleah; one brother, Ken Mastin; 2 sister-in-laws, Jean Rogers and April Thomas; and 2 brother-in-laws, Francis Rogers and Gene Thomas.

He went to high school in West Minster S.C. and received a bachelor’s degree in science at Tri County Tech.

Bob was a loving father and provider for his wife of 50 plus years and loved by neighborhood friends, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Keith and Karen Graves & April and Gene Thomas, for their unending care, love and support through their struggle.

A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M., Thursday, July 30, 2020, in the funeral home.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Rd.  CDC guidelines will be applied – face masks and social distancing required.
