Robert E. Lee

Robert E. Lee, 79 of Wildwood, GA, passed peacefully in his sleep at his home, on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the American Legion William E. Blair Post #95 for over 40 years.  Robert was a member of St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church for over 30 years.  He served as Junior Warden and as the softball coach for many years at the Church.  Robert was the owner/operator of Action Sun Control, a window tinting company for over 37 years. 

In his spare time, he enjoyed his love of riding horses and westerns.  Robert loved his Church family and lived each day to the fullest.  He also coached several baseball teams with his children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sarah Camp Lee; sister, Betty Crabtree.

Survivors include his wife, Shrimp Lee; children, Robin Oyer, Greg (Eunalyn) Lee, Kevin Lee, Shane Lee, Adam (Jessica) Lee, William (Kristy) Duke and Bryan Duke; grandchildren, Jonathon, Justin, Carrie, Tyler, Brandon, Elijah, Ezekiel, Elisha, Kassie, Kelsey, Lee and Eli; six great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Lee and three nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 16, at St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church, 7547 East Brainerd Road, with Father Jim Wallace officiating.  Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Saturday, April 14, at the funeral home and from 10-11 AM Monday, April 16 at St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church.
