Robert (Robbie) McCoy, Jr.

Robert (Robbie) McCoy, 58, of Ringgold, GA passed away unexpectedly March 9, 2023 at his home.

A longtime resident of North Georgia, Robbie was a 1982 graduate of Lakeview High School.

He was a veteran of the US Army and was employed with Ringgold Primary School.

Robbie was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

He was a big TN Vols fan, loved going to the beach, was an avid golfer, softball coach and enjoyed dirt tracking.

He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  His grandchildren were the light of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kim Moore McCoy;  daughters, Vicki (Matthew) McCoy Erwin, Ringgold,  Jordan (Kyle) McCoy Montogmery, Ooltewah, and McKenzie Sparks, Ringgold;  parents, Bob & Mary Jo Keith McCoy;  sister, Kim (Barry) Avery, all of Rossville; 4 grandchildren, Liam Erwin, Bennett, Bodi and Peyton Montgomery;  brother-in-law, Timothy (Julie) Moore, Chattanooga;  several nieces , nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held.
