Ronald Eugene Barefoot

Ronald Eugene Barefoot, 74, of Apison passed away early Saturday morning July 7th 2018. He was born in Carroll County TN on April 17th 1944 and then moved to Apison, TN in 1962 where he married his devoted wife Gladys Scoggins in 1966.

He was a member of McDonald Road Seventh Day Adventist Church where he also served as a deacon for a number of years.

Ronnie loved his family and is survived by his wife Gladys, son Shane (Tiffany) Barefoot, daughter Kristi (Jerry) Mayberry, grandchildren Carson and Ella, brother James Barefoot, sisters Sheila (Mike) Seawright, Charlene (David) Lowry and a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Eugene (Vera Berline) Barefoot and daughter Cynthia Jolene Barefoot.

Ronnie worked for McKee Food Corporation for 37 years and retired in 1999. His hobbies included Golf, Softball, Bluegrass music and spending time with his loving wife, children and grandchildren. He was a very loyal Tennessee Vols fan.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday, July 9th, at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road. Service will be held Tuesday 3:00pm at McDonald Road Seventh Day Adventist Church.
