Ronald Charles Kuhlman

Ronald Charles Kuhlman, 82, Fort Oglethorpe, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in a local health care center.

Mr. Kuhlman was a native of San Antonio, Texas moving to Chattanooga / North Georgia in 1960.

Mr. Kuhlman played professional baseball for several years before serving in the US Air Force from 1956 – 1960.   He retired from Roper Corp/GE in 1996 and was of the Lutheran faith.    He was an avid sportsman and golfer.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary Katherine Varnell Kuhlman; parents, Rupert and Ida Kuhlman and sister, Carolyn Bensinger.

Survivors are his son, Ronald Scott Kuhlman, Ft. Oglethorpe; daughters, Patricia Dawn (Keith) Brown, Harrison and Karen Lynne Kuhlman, Chattanooga; granddaughter, Jennifer Ashley Jones, Cartersville, GA;  sister in law, Patricia (Lynn) Sweat;  niece, Kathy Frisbee; Nephew, Randy (Patti) Parker.

At Mr. Kuhlman’s request a private family graveside service will be held.
