Shane Flanagan

Shane Flanagan, 66, of Chattanooga, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville and retired from South Central Bell (AT&T).  He loved coaching and watching his boys play ball, hunting and fishing, and later, Gramps enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s games and events. He loved the Lord and cherished his family.

Shane was preceded in death by his father, Ben Flanagan, and his brother, Rick Flanagan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his little bride, Claudette Bower Flanagan; his sons, Patrick (Kelly), Keven (Brooke), Rusty (A.J.);  9 grandchildren, Aysia, Caidyn, Asher, Darby, Madylin, Parker, Reed, Saylor, and Sadie; his mother, Norma Flanagan; his brother, Dee Flanagan; his sister, Brenda Bacon (Scott); nieces and nephew, Emily Kaiser (Jeffrey), Shelly Phillips (Andy), Tori Allen (Landon), and Grant Bacon; great niece, Emory Phillips; and many other loved family members.

Graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, November 21 at Forrest Hills Cemetery with Rev. Mike Bower officiating. Pallbearers will be Patrick Flanagan, Keven Flanagan, Rusty Wood, Dee Flanagan, Scott Bacon, and Lee Taylor.
