Shelia Diane (Moon) Crane

Mrs. Shelia Diane Crane, age 69, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

She was born in Arab, AL, on August 10, 1952, the daughter of the late Willie Gene Moon and Wanda Lee Guffey Moon. She was a founding member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Ooltewah, TN, and faithfully served the parish in various roles for many years.

Shelia was employed with Kenco Logistics for more than 50 years, serving as Vice Chairwoman and as a member of the Board of Directors. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, traveling, and sewing. Shelia loved her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel “Dan” Crane, to whom she was married on July 18, 1986; daughter, Valarie Crane; two brothers, Junior Moon and Michael Moon (Lisa); two sisters, Regina Michelle Cunningham (Booney) and Vickie Michaels (Rick); niece, Dawn Parks (Andrew); great-niece, Gwyneth Parks; and a great-nephew, Connor Parks.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, May 16, 2022, at 12:30 p.m., Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel with The Rev. Louisa "Lou" Parsons officiating.  Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Chattanooga National Cemetery.

A gathering of family & friends will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel.
