Shirley Lynn (Royal) Malone

Shirley Lynn Royal Malone, 61 of Ooltewah passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022.

She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and went on to successfully complete the Dental Assistant program at Chattanooga State and later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Shirley worked at BlueCross BlueShield for several years and then worked for MSA Business Technology over 17 years and Chattanooga Business Machines for 3years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. James Richard Royal; brother, Ken Royal; husband, Thomas Malone.

Shirley is survived by her mother, Patricia Royal; Children, Taylor Ladd, Travis Ladd, Hannah Malone; grandchildren, Evie Scoggins and Nolan Ladd; siblings, Beth Nayson, John Royal, and Bill Royal. 

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 2:00–5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
