Stephen Ralph Wilhoit

Stephen Ralph Wilhoit, 61 of Apison, TN, went home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2020. 

He was Husband of Denise Morgan Wilhoit and they shared 30 years of marriage together.

Stephen has lived in Apison, TN his whole life and graduated from Ooltewah High School in 1977. He attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and from there pursued his lifelong passion for farming. He was a long-time member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and recently attended Salem Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on his trucks and tractors, planting a garden, and hunting.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Denise Morgan Wilhoit; sons, Thomas (Emily Grider), Jarret (Erica), and Brandon; one brother, Randy (Vikki) Wilhoit of Apison, TN; numerous brothers and sister-in-laws; one uncle, Leon Bagby (Freda); aunts, Daisy Bagby and Bernice Bryant; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, October 11, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mark Chandler and Pastor Jim Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Ringgold, GA.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 PM Saturday, October 10, at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
