Pam: I am so sorry about your mom. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. I often think of the memories we all shared as kids growing up in Blue Grass. Your mom was always so caring to all of your friends. I had read in the paper years ago when she moved to be with her family in Tennessee and often thought of all of you. I also lost my mom several days ago on May 31st. You and your family are in my prayers. God Bless You all.

My dear cousin Sue, so sorry to read about your passing. You were one one of the finest women I ever knew, your vivid colors, bright smile and assortment of jewelry - were your trademark. Such a sweetheart and I loved you and James visiting me in Florida. I knew your time was near, missing James so much and I just hope you are reunited forever together as you belong. Love Always, your cousin Donna

Patti, Pam and Phillip - Your mom was a force of nature - sometimes a gentle Southern breeze and sometimes a hurricane. I have so many wonderful memories of her. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your great memories help you through this painful time.

Heartfelt condolences to the family of Sue Shepherd, I am truly sorry for the pain and emptiness of heart the enemy death has left you. Almighty God has promised to remove all the pain, illnesses and death forever. Along with the reuniting of those we loved on a peaceful earth. (John 5:28 &29, Revelation 21:4, Psalm 37:29) These and the many more promises of the Bible has to become a reality, because Titus 1:2 tells us that, "God cannot lie."

I lived in Stage Run next to James and Sue. Having my mother living with me gave Sue an opportunity to show her Christianity. She visited my mother and brought food. What a lovely lady. She always looked prim and proper. I will always remember her and James as displaying the epitome of being in the Lord's army.
