Susan Marie Michaud, 62, of Ringgold, GA passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her home.
Born in Meriden, CT., Susan spent her early years growing up in Connecticut and Maine before moving to Chattanooga in 1990. She has lived in Ringgold for the past 20 years.
She was a graduate of Quinnipiac College, Hamden, CT where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
She was former owner and operator of Focus on Function for many years with her husband and longtime friend, Dawn Capps.
Susan was of the Christian faith and was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Beach.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Michaud; three sons, John Paradis, Portland, TN, Cary Paradis, Chattanooga, and Gary (Amanda) Paradis, Red Bank; father and step-mother, Richard (Ada) Carpenter, Limestone, Maine; step-father, Lyle Beach, Cosby, TN; sister, Linda (Ray) Salch, Caribou, MA; brother, Rick Carpenter, CT; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Miranda, Megan, Gary Jr., Caleb, Ben, & Faith; two-great grandchildren, Peyton, and L.B.; several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
