Sylvia Evans

Sylvia Evans, 76, of East Brainerd passed away Monday, September 26, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mrs. Evans was a graduate of Central High School and went on to study to become a CNA.   She worked for several years at Life Care Center of Collegedale.

Her life was her son and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Evans; and parents, Idise and Inez Benson.

Survivors are her son, Johnny (Danna) Stephens, Rossville;   2 grandsons, Cameron and Carter Stephens, both of Rossville; brother, Charles (Renee) Benson, Cocoa Beach, FL; sister, Martha Rodgers, Chattanooga; several nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 29th at 1 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Andrew Crawford officiating.
