Thelma Padgett

Thelma Padgett, 93, of Ooltewah went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday , June 26, 2019.

She was born in Meigs County and had lived in Ooltewah for most of her life.

Mrs. Padgett retired as book-keeper from Trinity Baptist after many years of service.   She was a member of Temple Baptist Church for over 30 years.

Mrs. Padgett has been an active member of Maple Grove Baptist Church for the past 14 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Alfred Padgett.

Survivors are her daughter, Drema Gaffin, Ooltewah;  sons, Alex Padgett, Ooltewah and James Padgett, Myrtle Beach, S.C.;   grandchildren,   Justin, Zachery, Chase, Caleb, Chelsey, Brittaney, Savannah, & Harley;  five great-grandchildren, Evan, Cameron, Channing, Abel & Scarlett.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Ronnie Dotson and Rev. T.D. Burgess officiating.
