Tommye White Hourigan

Tommye White Hourigan, 81, East Brainerd went home to be with the Lord, Saturday December 23, 2017.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga she retired as Manager of Employee’s Finance Co. after over 40 years of service.

She was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and the Believers Sunday school class.

As an avid cat lover, Tommye helped found a local organization that rescued cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel White and Neva Salmons and her husband, Jack Hourigan.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Phil) Henderson Pritchard, Ooltewah;  brother, Bill (Peggy) White, Naples, FL;  2 grandchildren, Eric (Sarah) Pritchard, Ringgold and Stacy (Steve) Kelly, Harrison;  6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 27 at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Mason officiating.   Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
