Tony Bell

Tony Bell, 75, of Chattanooga, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 1, 2018.

He was born on a farm in Ooltewah, Tn., attended Ooltewah High School, where he played sports and excelled in baseball.

Tony was a longtime member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and the Agape Sunday School class. He was retired from the Hamilton County Highway Department where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janice Combs Bell; son, Chip Bell; dog, Skye; sister-in-law, Julia Olive; brothers, Tolbert Bell, Bobby Bell; sisters, Wanda Stafford, Nancy Crafton; several nieces and nephews.

The family extends a very special thank you to Dr. Donald Hartsfield for his excellent care of Tony.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:30 PM in the Morris Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Bill Mason officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Morris Hill Baptist Church Kingdom Fund.
