Vickie Tillison Eaves

Vickie Tillison Eaves, 76, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Friday, July 03, 2020.

Vickie was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church, and past member of 32 years at Morris Hill Baptist Church. She worked at Provident, Dyson-Truitt Realty, and Children’s Diagnostic Center before she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sarah Tillison; brother, Gary Tillison; and in-laws, Ray and Lestie Eaves; brothers-in-law, Jim Lewis, Marty Eaves, Oscar Eaves, Benny Eaves, Harold Johns, Earl Ausmus; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ausmus, Anna Klein, Nell Johns, Evelyn Eaves, and Mary Eaves.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, George Eaves; son, Scot (Julie) Eaves; daughter, Heather Eaves; grandsons, Cameron and Spencer Eaves, Lofton McGehee; sister, Peggy Lewis of Knoxville, TN; brother, Dennis (Carol) Tillison of Rossville, GA; sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Smith of Chattanooga, TN, and Judy Cocoris of Glendora, CA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 6 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Henson and Rev. Tommy Crider officiating. Burial will follow at Morris Hill Baptist Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hearth Hospice, Tennessee Oncology, Dr. Davey Daniel, and Amy Ottman for all of their love, care, and support.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 5 from 4-8 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Rd. CDC regulations require face coverings and social distancing during the visitation.
