Viola (Salsgiver) Knight

Viola Knight, 96 of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, September 06, 2017.  She was born in Indiana, PA to the late Andrew and Carrie Wadding Salsgiver.  Viola was a founding member of Ridgetop  SDA Church where she had lived for many years, and was currently a member of the Collegedale SDA Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Knight; son, James Knight; and stepdaughter, Janice Murley.

Survivors include her children, Karen (Russell) Caldwell, Ed Knight; daughters in law, Carol Ann Schneider and Elly Betat Knight Herber; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 12 Noon, Sunday, September 10, 2017 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Herman officiating.  Graveside services and interment will be held at 12 Noon EST, Monday, September 11, 2017 at Springfield Memorial Gardens in Springfield, TN.
