Viola Emma (Pothoof) Marsh

Viola Emma Pothoof Marsh, 88, of Ooltewah, Tennessee passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023. A native of Lansing, Michigan she was a former church clerk for the Michigan Seventh-day Adventist Conference. She was a member of the Ooltewah Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Marsh Jr.; son, Daniel Marsh; parents, Clare and Florence Barnes Pothoof; and sister, Almeda Marsh. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Rick) Merchant; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Marsh; four grandchildren, Tiffany (Justin) Salmon, Tyler (Brittany) Merchant, Katie (Johnny) Emmons and Daniel (Mattie) Marsh; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 19, 2023 in the funeral home chapel of Eagle Funeral Home George White Chapel in Reading, Michigan. Interment will follow at Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville, Michigan. The family will receive friends 1-2 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
