Violet (GG) Gardner

Violet (GG) Sager Gardner, 92, of Cohutta, GA passed away July 25, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Gardner lived in Mobile, AL for many years before moving to Cohutta, GA 23 years ago.

She was a member of Dug Gap Baptist Church, Dalton, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard (Jenk) Gardner;  son in law, Chuck Willis; sister, Hilda Yelverton.

Survivors are her daughter, Gail Willis, Chattanooga;  son, Mike Gardner, Cohutta, GA;  3 grandchildren, Tammy (Randy) Gribble, Chattanooga,  Vickie (Rich) Towery, Ringgold and David (Tracy) Brown, Dallas, GA;  7 Great-Grandchildren, Amanda Thompson, Abbie Blake, Kevin Guffey, Kraig Guffey,  Katie Moreland, Kody Brown and Kassie Brown;  13 great-great-grandchildren,  several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, July 28 at 1 PM in the chapel with Rev. Scott Parrish and Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating.   Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1 PM CST at Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
