Virginia Lee (Stallings) Howard

Virginia Howard, 89, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019.

Virginia was an active member of Brainerd Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday school class and was formerly a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church for 60 years.

She was a volunteer for the Hamilton County Baptist Senior Adult Ministries, and a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Howard; parents, Evan A. Stallings and Rosa Lee Stallings; sisters, Francis S. House, Juanita Hicks; and brother, William Stallings.

She is survived by her sons, Donnie (Debby) Howard, Charleston, TN., Gary (Angie) Howard, Harrison; daughter, Cathy (Dick) Klein, San Antonio, TX; sisters, Aileen Jacocks, Joyce Nolan; brother, James Stallings; 8 grandchildren, Geoff Howard, Chad (Laci) Howard, Garrett (Taylor) Howard, Kirby Howard, Kris (Nicole) Klein, Keely (Todd) Wink, Kevin (Ashley) Klein and Kasey Klein;  12 great-grandchildren, Kelsey Reasons, Tiffanie Howard, Alicia Howard, Luke Howard, Hannah Howard, Holland Klein, Walker Klein, Henley Klein, Cooper Klein, Korbin Wink, Kaison Wink, and Layla Brooke Klein;  2 great-great-grandchildren, Savanna Reasons and Jaxson Orr.

Services will be on Friday, January 25 at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. Pallbearers will be Kris Klein, Kevin Klein, Garrett Howard, Geoff Howard, Chad Howard and Todd Wink.  The Friendship Sunday school class of Brainerd Baptist Church will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
