Winfred "Pete" Foote

Winfred “Pete” Foote, 83 of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018.

Winfred was always known for his fast cars, and enjoyed stock car racing at the Cleveland Motor Speedway. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his family and animals. He retired as a truck driver after 50 years in 2006.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ida Foote; brothers, Clifford, Kenneth, Doyle Foote; and sister, Martha Hacker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, June Foote; daughter, Sherdia (Joe Keith) Davis; brother, Harlen Foote; sisters, Gail Foote, Edna Goins; granddaughter, Michelle Champion; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, April 27 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at New McDonald Cemetery.
