Joe M. Gibson, Sr.

Joe M. Gibson, Sr., 86, passed away peacefully at a local health care facility on July 18, 2017.

He was born October 15, 1930. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; brothers, Ross and Brian Gibson and sister, Jean Vahoviak

He is survived by his sons, Joe Jr., (Barbara), Rick (Marilyn), Gary (Pam), Lynn (Debbie) and adopted son, Perry (Alison) Wilson; sister, Rhoda Dean; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Special mention and heartfelt gratitude to his great-granddaughter, Kayla Reed and Martin Boyd Assisted Living Facility for their exceptional care and love over the past 17 months. God bless you for your kindness.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, July 20, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
