So sorry to learn of Lynn's passing! I worked with him at the CPD for a long time and he was always so very nice. His service to both the military and to Law Enforcement is very much appreciated! My thoughts & prayers are with his family. He was one of the 'good guys'.

Lynn and I grew up together, and I will always cherish all the memories we shared growing up. All those vacations to Florida with my parents when we were kids, the camping trips with his parents around Lake Ocoee. If you saw one of us, usually the other was close by. We went on double dates together in high school, where he played football for Tyner High. I loved Lynn like a brother, and always will. We kind of went our separate ways after we got married and started new chapters in our lives, but I always loved him. He had a great life, and had many accomplishments in life. My prayers go out to his family and wish I could have gotten to know them better. He will never be forgotten. He was one of a kind, and I lost my brother, and it hurts! God be with you through this hard time.

Lynn was from the greatest generation who came back from the Vietnam war and used the lessons learned in combat to lead and train their fellow police officers. Many of us were blessed to have these officers as our friends and role models. Rest in peace, Brother.

I feel very blessed to have known Lynn. He was one of the nicest men I have ever known. I knew him most of my life, from elementary school through high school and working at the City of Chattanooga. I am asking God to bless his family with courage to bear the sorrow you feel. May your good memories comfort you and give you smiles. Rest in peace friend.
