Hi,
I was Ryan's coach for the Lausanne Lacrosse team. Ryan served as captain and was a great leader and a strong player. I loved his warmth - he was a charismatic and kind young man. I have fond memories of shooting with him before practices and just talking. He was such a funny kid - always made me and his teammates laugh. This is very upsetting news- I am so sorry and I will remember him fondly.
Sincerely,
Mike

Ryan was a wonderful and compassionate leader, friend, and role model. I am honored to have be a part of one of his last trips with the YMCA. The 60 miles we canoed together were very memorable, and I will remember the amazing time we had together for as long as I live. I plan to wear the bracelet he made me out of paracord until it breaks. Ryan has touched many lives, and the world is a lot sadder without him. My thoughts and love go out to the family of Ryan during this time. Stay strong.

Our hearts are broken that such a fine young man has left this earth. He made this world a better place and will be missed by so many. Such a comfort that he is in the arms of our Lord and savior. Our prayers are with all the family.

I first met Ryan as an excited 7 year old Cub Scout joining our den. He was full of life and laughter and adventure and that group of boys not only kept our neighborhood lively for many years but also brought together a group of mothers for some of the best memories of my life. The adult Ryan could have chosen any industry to work in, and he would have been successful. Yet heI chose to give his time, energy, finances and Christian mentoring to kids just as energetic but not as blessed as he had been. This world has lost a bright light, but the angels are laughing a whole lot more than they did last week because a soul filled with joy has joined their ranks.

The Southeast TN Development District family is grieving for the loss of Ryan Keller. Although we did not know Ryan, we know and love his cousin Madeline Shelton who is part of our family; and as such, his loss has personally touched us all and want the family to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you struggle with his death. May time and faith provide some comfort during this very difficult time.

My heart is breaking knowing how many souls will miss Ryan and his sweet loving spirit. I had the privilege of meeting Ryan and Clark to assist them with their work with the Dalewood Elementary students. It was such an honor to be included in their very sacred space with these youth. My heart was so moved seeing Ryan and Clark reaching into these young souls and inspiring them to rise above their circumstances. You will forever be in my heart Ryan and in my prayers. Now you are one of the guiding Angels assisting and guiding us. I hope to be able to hear your whisperings of hope and peace forevermore. Love, Jen

I met Ryan on a church ski trip, his freshman year of high school. We went up the lift together to the top of the mountain. Once there a terrible blizzard surrounded us. I was inexperienced and ill-equipped. Ryan, experienced and well-equipped had a face-mask on to protect him from the biting cold and snow. He saw me helpless and reached into his bag and gave me a spare face-mask he had, waiting for one who was helpless, like me. I have it to this day, just as I have his friendship. He cared for all. Loved all. In return, we love him. I will miss him.

May the Lord provide peace that passes all understanding. The Lord had welcomed him home and he and your family are loved.
