Debby and Renee, my heart is heavy but I know Roy, your mom, my Dad and Mom are having a great reunion. Roy was living with my parents when I was born and being a very colicky baby, they all took turns rocking and walking. This also included Gordon and Willie Mae Dantzler who are also at the heavenly reunion. It is thrilling to just imagine. If I can ever be of help to either of you, do not fail to ask. God bless!

It was an honor to be involved in Mr. Lucas's medical care. I had the pleasure of seeing him from time to time after my role as a doctor had passed, and I was always struck by his warm and graceful manner. I will remember this fine, fine man fondly in the years to come.

So sorry to hear about brother Roy. He will always be one of the best choir directors I've ever seen. He always followed the leadership of the Holy Spirit. He knew what to sing and when to sing it. I miss that. Praying for you Debbie and Renee.

So sorry to hear of the passing of a really wonderful father and a life long friend of the Shepherd family. Like the song says There is shouting in heaven because Roy had a lot of friends who was so glad to see him.
