I had the pleasure of working with Melvin at Dixie Yarns and then R. l. Stowe Mills. He was a very caring man for his family, work family, and all that knew him. I will be praying for all of you.

I was fortunate enough to know Melvin and worked with him at "Dixie Yarns"
I found him to be one of the most genuine
men I every knew. He did love his family
I count it a blessing to have been a friend
and will miss him. Rest with no more
suffering Melvin.

I was so saddened to hear of Melvin's passing. Your family has been a part of my family for a long time and you know my dad thought the world of Melvin. I am at a meeting out of town Tuesday and Wednesday so I will not see you, but know that I am thinking about you.
