Michael Barry Mitchell

Michael Barry Mitchell, 69, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Michael was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed flying airplanes, building model rockets and trains, and playing golf. He was a graduate of UTC Business School, and was a retired accountant and small business owner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and LaVada Mitchell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Mitchell; daughters, Dr. Andrea (Kenneth) Goforth, Kerri (Chris) Stidham; brother, Stewart (Brenda) Mitchell; and grandchildren, Ella, Emma, Anna, Avva Stidham, and Keller Goforth.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 21 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Paul Stidham officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
